- Question: Where did you attend College?
- Answer: Virginia Commonwealth University ( Go RAMS! ). I was an Information Systems major and minored in Business.
- Question: What certification do you currently maintain which means the most to you professionally?
- Answer: Without a doubt, it would be my CCIE Voice certification. The process was grueling and took over 2 years from start to finish. I had great friends and family to support me through it. I will never forget those “dungeon hours” when I studied to 2AM and returned to work at 8AM.
- Question: What is the one technology area inside Cisco you find the most intriguing?
- Answer: I am a big fan of the current VMware push and Cisco Unified Computing System. I do think it’s funny that about every 10-15 years we go from being centralized to distributed, and now we find ourselves moving toward more centralized architecture as we did with mainframes back in the 70′s, only now we are doing it with data centers and VMware, thin clients, and cloud based SAAS products.
- Question: What UC technology do you think you have mastered?
- Answer: That’s easy; hands down it would be Unified Contact Center Express. Keep your eyes peeled because big things are happening with UCCX and our sister site in 2011!
